<description>The Seasons Fund For Social Transformation invests in opportunities to couple the expansive power of personal transformation with the public work of repairing societal ills in the United States. The Fund, a collaborative effort led by several private foundations, springs from a shared belief that cultivating a rich inner life is both a worthy end in itself and an overlooked pathway to heightening the impact, effectiveness, and sustainability of social change initiatives. Together, we aim to raise at least $5 million to support those working for social, economic, and environmental justice to embrace a range of contemplative practices that can deepen their capacity to lead. The Seasons Fund for Social Transformation is pleased to announce our inaugural Transformative Leadership Awards.</description>

<div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">Real change begins when the people who work for change lead healthy, sustainable lives. With greater inner awareness comes greater balance, compassion and presence. Working together, agents of social change become more effective in creating a more just, sustainable and equitable society for all.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">Commit to doing 108 minutes of practice during our virtual SIT for Change event on September 18th by registering online as an individual, organization or sponsor. While participants are called &#8220;sitters,&#8221; the form of practice you choose is up to you. Join the event from wherever you are. <div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">This year, SIT for Change falls on Yom Kippur. The date also coincides with the anniversary of the founding of Center for Transformative Change, International Peace Day and Global Mala Day (an international yoga practice event). If you&#8217;re celebrating Yom Kippur, we invite you to make this event part of your larger Yom Kippur practice.</div>
