Seasons Fund’s Strategic Direction

Seasons Fund recently completed an inquiry with the field about our role in the transformative social change landscape; these conversations resulted in an exciting new strategic direction that will guide our work for the next three to five years. This direction aims to: strengthen transformative leadership for movement building by investing and mobilizing resources.

Seasons’ objective is to support movement leaders and their organizations to deepen their engagement with transformative approaches in order to generate more alignment, coherence, effectiveness and impact across a range of social change initiatives. Specifically, the three primary pathways for success in this direction are:

Strategic pathway #1:
Partner with others to strengthen the leadership of high-impact transformative social change campaigns and initiatives.

Strategic pathway #2:
Support systematic and linked leadership development in formal and informal networks, alliances, and anchor organizations pursuing transformative social change.

Strategic pathway #3:
Increase training and other technical assistance resources for leaders of transformative social change and their organizations.
